Mr. Samuel L. Blaney

Mr. Samuel L. Blaney, the company's Managing Director, has been an active market participant in exotic currency markets since 1979. Prior to forming Emerging Markets, Ltd., Mr, Blaney was employed by American Airlines, Inc., where he managed its International Treasury Operations, including global foreign exchange trading, exchange rate exposure management, and the Tax Exempt Bond Fund Portfolio. Before joining American Airlines, Mr. Blaney was Treasurer of both Air Florida, Inc. and Northeastern International Airways.

His academic background includes undergraduate and graduate degrees in Finance and he is a Certified Cash Manager (CCM) with the Association of Financial professionals.
